More about Dubai

Dubai is famous of its unique and eccentricity building and villas. On my 3rd stay, I attended a business meeting with Datuk Seri Rafidah Aziz and other Malaysian Delegation to Dubai to enhance their business opportunities in UAE. In that meeting I was surrounded by all the Datuks’, Politician and Parliament Members not forgetting CEOs’ of individual business firms. Also present were Dubai’s companies and business ppl who are looking for partnership with fellow Malaysian and also African (Sharon knows who I am referring too!). I also met with Secret Recipe’s founder…wowww!!!! Later in the evening, ignoring my exhaustion I took a cab to the first Renaissance-themed style shopping mall in the Middle East and UAE, Mercato. The architecture is well-remembered by all because this is one of Dubai’s most sophisticated malls. Apparently I did no shopping because it’s damn expensive. Happen so that Souk Madinat Jumeirah is nearby so I decided to go there again. I really envy this place because it is an authentic recreation of an ancient marketplace with traditional Middle Eastern design, style and ambience. After taking few snapshots, I then move to my next destination-Karama City Center. Located on the Bur Dubai side of the creek, Karama has a main long street with veranda covered shops on both sides. That is the place I deserved to be as it offers cheap and cheerful goods at below average prices. I bought my shisha pipes and other souvenirs there too. I also had a good prawn beriyani there whereby the quantity can fit for 3 ppl but for the price of 1…Can you imagine how big the pack is? My tummy was fully loaded till I hardly walk back. So once your stomach is stuffed what’s next you can think of??!!! ZzzZZZzzzzz…
